MLM or network marketing is one of the best ways to create wealth. There are 1C and 3P when evaluating a MLM business opportunity. 1C means the company and 3P means the product, plan & people.

I am sure you do not want the company to stop operation when your MLM network takes off and waste all your hardwork.
So, it is important to study and ask about the company long term strategy and vision. In MLM business, the company must envision to run a global MLM business network that breaks the geographical boundary. You must know who is the founder or CEO of the company. It is important that founder or CEO has MLM or direct selling track record in the past. The reason is simple, only people who has run MLM business before know how to run and sustain a MLM business for long term. MLM business opportunity is a brand new game and it cannot be run by a traditional businessman.
How can you find out about the company plan and their founder philosophy?
Guideline number 1 is that you must find a company who is public listed on the stock exchange. Why? The reason is simple, a public listed company must disclose their company plan regularly and you can study the company track record from the information in the public domain. Secondly, once you start on a MLM network marketing business, you can also have a chance to be the investor in the company by becoming a shareholders of the company.
Guideline number 2 is that you must look for a growing MLM company. Everyone company will go through infant phase, growing phase and mature phase. When a company is in the infant phase, the company is still not stable and not strong yet. They are still looking for a direction to run a successful business. The probability of the company closing its operation is higher. This applies to mainly the new MLM or network marketing company.
Once a company sustain through the infant phase, it will go into a growing phase and the business is taking off now. It is important you spot on the growing phase of the company and you enter at the beginning of the growing phase. You can spot this growing business in the financial statement of the company and usually you can associate them to a successful launch of a product. After years of growing, the company may eventually comes to mature stage. During this phase, the sales is stablized and the market is saturated. You must avoid a MLM or network marketing company in the mature stage.
Look for a growing public listed MLM business company is key to enjoy the long term success of network marketing business. Besides company, it is important to continue to evaluate the product of the company, the compensation plan how the company is rewarding you for your sales and finally, it is important that the company also have a step by step training system to support your MLM business as well.
