No Income Verification Mortgage Loan
Are you looking for a no income verification mortgage loan? Do you have a good reason to be considering this type of loan or are you just getting desperate? Here are two situations that a no verification loan will work well in and one that it does not benefit the borrower whatsoever in.
The first situation is tipped employees, usually bartenders and servers. These workers don't claim all the money they make. They might make $200 on a Saturday night and only claim that they made $75. This can make it very hard to prove what your real income is. In this case a mortgage loan that does not make you verify your income works perfect. You will be able to get the loan you need without worrying about proving how much money you make.
The second situation is self employed individuals. This group finds that there are many qualifications for mortgages that make it very hard to get the loan that they need. One of these qualifications is usually income. Most self employed individuals expense a lot of their income so that they don't have to pay as much in taxes so they cannot prove what they really make. In this situation taking out a mortgage that does not require verification of your income is a great idea.
The last situation is one where this type of loan should never be considered. If you have worked for the same company for more than 2 years and you can prove all of your income, then you need to avoid a no verification mortgage at all costs. If a mortgage broker or account executive is trying to talk you into one, then it is because you don't qualify for a conventional loan and they are thinking more about their commission than your needs. Tell them no and go see an accountant or financial planner so you can find out what you can do to get into a situation where you will qualify for a conventional loan.
If you fit one of the first two groups, then you are doing the right thing by searching for a no income verification mortgage loan, but if you don't fit either of those groups you need to avoid this type of loan. Don't get talked into something that is going to put you into financial hardship and always make sure the loan is the right one for you.
