Loan Officer Training - Paying Attention To Non Mortgage Items Can Make You A Better Loan Officer
As Loan Officers, we are constantly in search of the perfect marketing technique. What's the best think out there than will work for me?
Believe it or not, one of the best pieces of research you can do for yourself is literally right at your fingertips. It's as simple as turning a knob or pushing a button. In fact, you probably partake in this research every day and not realize you're doing it. After you read this, you'll never have an excuse as to why you can't find new marketing ideas ever again. (if you don't want to find out, then quit reading right now!)
Most Loan Officers watch television or listen to the radio at least once a day, wouldn't you agree? Think about it, what is television and radio full of? Advertising, right? Which ads do you pay attention to? Not so much for buying purposes, but for retention purposes. Which ads do you remember?
Think about your reaction when you see an ad on TV or hear on the radio. If you paid attention to it, why is that? What was it about that ad that got your attention?
If you really think about it, if that particular ad got your attention, chances are it got the attention of several other folks as well. If it didn't, it wouldn't be used any more. So now, all you have to do is "copy" that ad, at least parts of that ad, and incorporate it into your marketing strategy. Whether it be radio, TV, or print, you now have a model to follow, one that you know got your attention.
Ads that work are the ones that get people's attention, even for Loan Officers.
