I heard this phrase once: "It's not our mistakes that define us, it's what we do afterwards that counts the most."
That is one powerful statement, don't ya think? If you dwell on what you did that resulted in something other than success, that's not exactly a bad thing, as long as you re-attempt what you did and look for different results. BUT if you totally focus on it and not learn from it, your making this business extremely tough, more so than it needs to be. Everyone makes mistakes, it's part life. If you didn't make mistakes, you would never know what no making mistakes feels like. Think of it this way...
There cannot be success if there wasn't failure.
There cannot be correct if there wasn't mistakes.
There cannot be right if there wasn't wrong.
There cannot be sweet if there wasn't sour.
Get it? Mistakes are part of the learning process, If you learn from your mistakes. If you take those mistakes, change what you did a bit to get different results, you'll soon realize the best way to do whatever it is your doing. It took Thomas Edison took over 900 tries to get the light bulb right. If he never changed what he was doing, if he never learned from his mistakes, he may have never invented the light bulb and you'd be reading this article in the dark right now.
When you make mistakes, and yo will, learn to embrace it, but don't dwell on it. Use that knowledge to make you stronger.
