I will get straight to the point. In order for you to get free leads for your MLM business, it MUST be an Internet MLM and NOT traditional MLM. You leverage on the Internet to promote your business. Most often, leads or prospects contact you first, instead of you looking for them!
In Internet MLM, you must have a lead capture page designed specifically for your MLM company. The capture page often has strong sales copy or a informational report so that prospects will opt-in, i.e. give their name and email, for more information. There you are! People opt-in voluntarily and you have totally free leads. It is now up to you to follow-up on them.
So how do you get people to opt-in to your lead capture page? In Internet MLM, targeted traffic equals to free leads. If you can attract enough targeted traffic to your website, more people will opt-in and you will have more free leads. It is nothing complicated.

Your blog can link to your lead capture page or to the product sales page. Moreover, search engines prefer blogs to static web pages. Hence, you have a higher chance of getting ranked well and get good traffic.

\r I must warn that SEO is not for absolute beginners. It will take time and effort to get your desired search engines ranking. However, it is one of the best way to get free long term traffic. You create a website by providing valuable content with high searches keywords (but not keywords spamming) and search engines will picked up your website. \r Getting involved in forums related to MLM can also attract visitors to your website. Areas such as internet marketing, home based business, entrepreneurship are good to get started with. Provide value to the forums by giving good comments or helping people to solve their problems. Just place your website links in your signature and people who are interested will click it.
Press Releases
\r Press Release is an under used method to generate free leads for you. Press Releases are \"news stories\" and are seemed more trustworthy. Write a non-biased write up on your business and published it to Press Releases sites. They can be taken up by various media and turned into a news or special interest story which can create excellent and credible publicity for your business.
