How Do You Feel About Your Home Business?
Many home business owners feel like they are working harder than ever because most of them still work a full time job. An independent study stated that 90% of home based business owners earn less than $10 a week, yet when they started their MLM business they were told they could earn a 6 figure income.
Why would you hang fliers on telephone poles and have meetings in your living room for 10 bucks a week? You wouldnt, and neither would any other reasonable person.Yet by noon each day about 500,000 people will search on the internet for the words network marketing. That being said, its clear that people are looking for a way to earn money from home.
They are sick and tired of running on the hamster wheel of going to a job every day and working for someone else. Corporate downsizing and job insecurity are higher than ever, but how is $10 a week really going to help you with this?
What about other work from home jobs like paid surveys, envelope stuffing programs or worse yet gifting programs. Most of these programs are really just thinly disguised pyramid schemes or methods of separating you from your money. The bottom line is, a real business needs real products and must provide a realistic return on investment.
If you feel like your home business is a joke and youre spending more money on it than youre making, maybe its time to consider a few other options. If you are already in network marketing and you feel like you spend more money than you make, or the products your company is selling are more of an afterthought, just there to keep the thing legal, I would see that as a red flag.
So its safe to say there are some criteria you should look at if you feel your home business throws up some of the above mentioned red flags. Take into consideration one central idea: do you feel a sense of pride in what you are doing, or does something just not feel right?
